When you come upon something...
That takes your breath away.
When that happens...
I know that I have to let go of something....
I let go of this bookcase, because I have a gorgeous new French china hutch that is going to house my Great-Grandmother's china (to be seen in a later post)!
I painted the large & awesome arch window with AS Chalk Paint in Old White...
I added a small eye hook and an 's' hook...
Now I can add any wreath or plate or picture...
As I choose!

Oh yes I do know that feeling, it's such a great feeling! My heart would of be beating so hard you'd be able to see it. It looks so pretty on your wall, and what a great bedroom you have. I have been on the lookout for a arch window, whenever i spot one it's too expensive, but I know one day it will come my way. Enjoy!

Hi Terry
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a comment. I hope your friend liked my blue and white. Your bedroom is lovely. I really like the chair with the black and white checks on the arms and the table beside it that matches. I used to have a lot of black and white checks in my house. Hope you'll visit again. Rhondi :)

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful - oh I'd love to find one an arched window - and love the hooks so that you can add to it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful find!
I LOVE arched windows!! Yours is wonderful, and I love how easy you made it to change out the seasonal wreath.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the visit,
Mary Alice
That was a great find!
ReplyDeleteI have an old arched, oak window, complete with six panes of glass that I bought over 30 years in Belgium. I've carted it back and forth across the ocean and across the continent and now it's in the attic here on Vancouver Island. I wonder if this might not be the time to bring it out and use it as I've always dreamed?
Great Idea to add hooks! I have a huge soft spot for arched windows and mirror <3
ReplyDeleteYou took an already beautiful room and made it gorgeous! The arch is the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Hugs,
Patti
