It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas 2010!

I painted garage sale skates, $1, added ribbon and boa trim.

Front door (I painted house number after seeing it on another blog).

Wall reads, "Contentment is worth more than riches".

Mr. Cardinal in the Study.

Garage sale birdcage, $10.
Garage sale skates and frames that I painted.
Hung with ribbon and huge ornaments from Sam's Club.

Fireplace in our living room. It is huge, I can stand under it at 5' tall. (or short)!
Garage sale vintage Christmas hankies and Sam's Club ornament.

Garage sale luggage with cat birdhouse on top.

Antique huge cloche from garage sale, $15.

Original print from Germany in old frame from antique mall.

50¢ garage sale find.

One of 7 decorated columns from garage sales.

I painted these on canvas.

Hat topper I made.
9 foot slim Christmas Tree in the living room. And antique tin ceiling panel hubby framed.
Small tree in the Green Toile Guest Bedroom surrounded by tri-mirror.

Ornaments that I made of my kids.

White feather tree from thrift store, ornaments from Wal-mart.

Ice tree in the master bedroom.

Instead of a tree in the media room, I decided to have a present 'tree' using my etagere.

Pier 1 after Christmas glitter stockings hanging from Chandy.

7 foot tree in the foyer decorated in quail and butterfly theme.

Tree is on a table so I decorated under for visual effect.

Faux fireplace hubby made in the foyer. Sock stretchers from garage sale.
Looking down from upstairs.

Two wreathes combined and vintage 'M' hankie added.
Green metal tree $3 from garage sale. Hand painted jello molds from the 1930's that I painted.

Church that I pained on this jello mold. I added tea strainers with beads to the tree.

All jello molds are painted different. This one is a cute Santa.

Yet another jello mold painted. These molds were found at garage sales in the summer.

Hanging on pantry door.

I LOVED this horizontal hanging wreath at Ben Franklin Store,I purchased it after Christmas last year.

My Christmas Tea area in the kitchen. I painted the tray.

In the dining room on the antique Seller's cabinet.
I used glitter on these skates (garage sale find $1) and added a new ribbon and boa trim.

  11. Wow...wow...wow...everything is just beautiful and stunning! I haven't even started inside yet. I just gathered all the Thanksgiving stuff to put away. I wish I could tour your home at Christmas time. We do have the outside lights done. I'm going to start to getting the Christmas stuff out - I only have one slim tree and a small table top one. You have inspired me to get going!

  17. Quick question... I saw you have a pair of white skates as well, but didn't see a close-up picture. Did you also paint them? I have a pair of white and black skates that I want to do something with. Now I'm not going to sleep tonight thinking about decorating them!! LOL!!!!

  25. Did you know your thrift store feather tree is an actual martha stewart feather tree back in the kmart days? I just bought on of ebay, and they have more of them there and they get a pretty penny for them now. I love yours and I also got some of the same ornaments from walmart for my tree as you did.
