Moments To Remember...

Shoot me! I forgot  to take a before picture, so you will have to use your imagination. On an antiquing jaunt, I found an arm frame that would have been attached to the back of a dresser to hold the mirror...and usually the mirror would have swiveled.

I brought it home and turned it upside down and added a board to the new bottom from one arm to the other. I then painted it white, distressed it and added the words Moments to Remember. I also added bent forks for hooks and this is what it turned out like.
Now, I know this is not too exciting like this,
but just imagine if you had an heirloom platter in the center  and some smaller plates hanging from the fork hooks. Or a picture in the center.... or...
Here's how I have it used in my home.
Sorry about the glare from the nearby window.

With pictures of my daughter and some tassels. Enjoy

  1. Thanks for the idea. I have been trying to think of making a fake fireplace mantle. I have the shelf but the round table like legs would look good with out a lot of work.

  18. Yes! I'm picturing the mirror frame now...but when I first looked at it, well, it looked like you chopped the legs of a breakfast table!
