New House Tour ~ Study/Baths/Mud Room

Continuing on with our New House Tour, I will remind you that this home was staged for a fund raising tour by designers and furniture stores. A fee was charged to tour the beautiful home and the money went to The Advocacy Network for Children.

So remember, this is a staged home...NOT THE HOMEOWNERS FURNISHINGS OR DECOR.  You will see price tags and some things out of place, because I was there while it was being staged.

Knowing this, please focus on the finishes and house design. I will be featuring each room over the next several blogs because this home is HUGE and I just can't give you a quality tour without separating the rooms.

Let's continue on the tour with the Remainder of the main floor...The Study/Second main floor bedroom, Full bath in Hall, Powder Room and Mud room.

Next week, we will go upstairs to see all the rest.
You can see:
The Kitchen tour HERE.
The Living room tour HERE.
The Master Suite HERE.
The Laundry Room HERE.
The Dining Rooms HERE.

The study is currently located in what will become the nursery, when and if the owners have baby #3. For the tour, this room was staged as an office. It is the second bedroom on the main floor of this home and across the hall from the laundry room.

Right around the corner to this bedroom/office, is a full bath. It features the same tile and cabinetry as the master bathroom.

Now I will share with you the mud room, entered either from the kitchen (if you are in the home) or via the garage if you are entering the home from there.

The mud room features an enclosed closet, a storage bench and a wall of cubbies and hooks for the family's coats and shoes. Plus a huge window that faces the front.

There is a short hallway from the mud room to the kitchen. In this hall there is a powder room. I wallpapered this room prior to the fixtures being set.

This concludes the main floor tour. Let's review the rooms. Front door foyer, formal dining room, hall to stairways, kitchen, breakfast room, living room, powder room, mud room, hall bathroom, study/bedroom, laundry room, master suite and lastly the covered deck.

Next week, I will take you on the tour of the upper level.  It has three bedrooms, a bonus room, a play room and a bathroom.  Hope you have enjoyed this dream-of-a-home tour so far.
