Cool Iron Chair

Look at the newly redone cool iron chair!

I was lucky enough to come across two very unique metal chairs at an estate sale.

They are made with what looks like rebar with metal leaves.

One was painted white and missing the circle back part and the other one was painted black.

So let's start this story at the beginning...

Remember this fabric that I purchased at a garage sale for $2? I shared it with you on a recent Diamonds In The Rough! post.

It is an old Waverly fabric that is very heavy. I used quite a bit of it and made skirting for my antique mall booth. I have a lot left, so I decided to use this for one of these chairs.
I freshened up the black paint on the black chair and re-upholstered the cushions with the Waverly fabric.  I thought it had a somewhat Victorian look to these chairs so the fabric would work. Now it is on display at my antique mall booth ready for someones home.

What do you think of it?
