Winter Putz Display

While most people display their Putz Houses during the Christmas season,

I reserve mine for a favorite winter display...

Why?

Because, I have way too much Christmas decor to display and not enough surface space to show and share it all at the same time!

And it's something that I look forward to after the Christmas decor is all put away!

Plus, I hand made all these Putz Houses except for the yellow one and blue one.
They are fun to make!
During our long cold winters.
And they are just so darn cute!

  2. What a great idea for enjoying them after Christmas and giving them their own season. We leave our snow village out for several weeks after Christmas. It helps fill the gap after the overload of Christmas décor.

    1. What a wonderful grouping and memories of my childhood. We had these on our tree during the 49;s. I would play with them forever changing them around to make different scenes and cities. So nice to know there are some still with a home.

  8. Beautiful! I love decorations that are winter, but not Christmas. They're perfect to pull out in January to keep it cheerful even after Christmas is put away.

  12. I love your winter decor!!! I keep my little houses out too. I have sooo much Christmas that a lot of my winter decor doesnt come out until Christmas is put away. Our winter in Michigan is long and cold and snowy and the decor keeps my house warm and cozy. Often people think that winter decor is Christmas decor. I'm glad to see you think like I do.
