New Pillows: Love At First Sight

I am ready for Spring even though its been a mild winter...

Winter is my least favorite season and I am always happy to see it go bye-bye.

I fell in love with this fabric at first sight at Hobby Lobby and bought a yard.

I whipped up a couple of new pillows with this fabric and added my signature black and white check as trim. However, this trim was cut on the bias and sans any piping.
They look good combined with my feedsack pillows too.
Here are some additional random Easter decor that I made years ago...

By the way, remember this rocking horse that I redid when my granddaughter was not even born yet?
My 10 month old granddaughter, Isla Rose loves it and as long as you are willing to rock it for her, she is willing to stay on it a long time...

  2. Your granddaughter is beautiful and I am jealous. I want a grandchild so badly but apparently my sons and their significant others do not.

  4. The pillows are very springy! The fabric for the pillow would not have been my first choice, but once seeing it with the black and white checked fabric piping I really liked it. The rocking horse is enchanting. I would like to that project for next grand baby! Thanks for a dose of inspiratio

  5. What a cutie!! Can you tell me how you attached the hair to the rocking horse? That is adorable, too! Now I am off to Hobby Lobby for fabric to match your pillows. Love the subtle Spring colors.
