From Baby to Little Girl Room

I have been helping a friend and client with pulling her new home together for a more cohesive look. In their little girls room, which she painted green, I put a huge vinyl tree on the wall, purchased on eBay.
Initially the baby bed and dresser was lost in this very large room. (This is just one tiny corner, below).

Since her daughter was ready to transition from a baby bed into a larger one, I suggested to take the furniture from the guest bedroom into this room. It is a queen size sleigh bed, a matching night stand and dresser. Actually, the furniture was too big for the smaller guest bedroom. Her dream was to have white distressed furniture. I accommodated her by painting all the furniture.
After painting (but leaving the top stained). I spray painted the original hardware brown.
Before
After

Before, minus the drawers.
After
I used a left over pottery barn pink corduroy curtain and made the two euro pillows and the cute bird pillow. I used green gingham fabric as accent for the piping and the bird. The bedding and sham came from Pottery Barn Kids. The green polka dot sheets are from Pottery Barn Teen.
I even painted to match, the Mother's childhood vanity and made a pink tutu skirt for the vanity. I also hung the sweet chandelier found at Hobby Lobby. And there is that cute rose mirror that I blogged about HERE.
In keeping with the tree and bird theme, I took a tree branch from outside and tied ribboned frames of her as a baby. I had taken these pictures when she was born. My client painted and decorated the Hobby Lobby letters with paint and embellishments. The ladder leads to a play loft area above.
The pink shade is from Pottery Barn Kids and she already had the butterflies.
This room is so adorable now and will transition well as Lakin grows.
