Song Book Table

Such a cute table with a fun scallop and cut-outs. When I saw it at a garage sale, all dirty and falling apart, I just had to have it to play with! You know, "do my thing"!



After Hubby helped me reglue it, I decided to paint it two tone with ASCP French Linen and Old White.
The top was begging for something different than just paint, so I opted for old song book pages!

The shelf under got a bit of whimsy too with a date of 1930...since I think this is the era of this table.
Silly Me, I took this from the back! I also painted the skirt above the scallop with a band of blue between two routed areas.
It's ready to sell!

  6. That's a really pretty table since you redid it. So delicate looking, ethereal. Love the color combo and the music sheets on top, the perfect touch. I imagine having it in my boudoir and hearing Heavenly choirs serenade me to sleep every night...
