I do 'Believe in Tomorrow'!
Though this ChalkArt was not my original ideal...
I found this idea in a magazine recently
but forgot the name of the magazine.
The trick to getting your chalk art to look dark and good is to wet the chalk for a second under running water. When you use this wet chalk, it will look pale and kind of weird, but as it dries right before your very eyes, it will keep darkening and turn out great!

This paper wreath was made using a leaf punch.
The flower is a design from SilhouetteAmerica
with a button center.

It is all just beautiful Terry.. At first glance, I thought the wreath was magnolia or bayleaf...It is just grogeous!!! Of course, I love anything with chalkboard these days.. I could almost go overboard...lol Have a great day. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove the chalk tray! Thanks for the tip on getting the chalk wet. I'll have to try it.

I have a rusty old tole tray that is almost stripped...it would make a great chalk board tray for my daughter's house! Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks so much for coming to the Thrifty Life Thursday link party at Revisionary Life!
