In that previous post I give you a tour of my newly decorated MC styled guest bedroom.

I also talked about how these lovely Matelasse coverlets are too short and I needed to come up with a solution so solve this dilemma. A bigger size was too big, so here is my solution...

I made and sewed a black and white checked ruffle on the edge of the Matelasse! Done and Done!

It coordinates well with all the black and white check in this room. Now you probably want to go back and take a peek at the first post HERE!
