Ticking In Time for Christmas

As my mind was

dreaming up

a new way to display

my Christmas decor

(It's boring if it's put up the same way every year, don't you think?)











I decided that I needed

a new runner

for my buffet...

I had picked up some black and white ticking for another project that I didn't end up using it for, so this fabric was available in my stash to use.

I wanted to have it hang over with layers of ruffles.

And as luck would have it, I picked up a like-new Serger this summer at a garage sale and used it to make this runner.

I even lined it with muslin. Now it's ready to decorate for Christmas...

Though the new runner will work perfect anytime of the year!
