Here you can get a feel for the way our four car garages set...The door in the middle, leads to the mudroom.
There is a breezeway between the two garages.
If you are like me, you love all the barn door looks that are all the rage and all over the Internet. Barn doors are not only for barns anymore and I wanted one. So I called my Young-and-Cute-Handy-Dandy-Handyman, Trent and he came right over.
Before, the inside of the garage looked like this. It is a two car garage with a walled off mud room attached, then entrance to the house via laundry room. The laundry room is where the hot and cold water would be tapped into and I wanted a barn door to close off the garage when needed.
Here is the mud room looking out to the brick wall of the new garage...
And looking in to the door to the house and on the right is the opening to the original two car garage.
Now the barn door just slides closed when I want it to. Trent had to relocate the garage door openers on the inside wall vs on the garage side wall.
And just think...it all started with these two simple faucets! I still have caulking and painting to do, but Happy early Father's Day to you Hubby!
