White Iron Chair

You may recall the post that I did on the black iron chair, but if you don't, this is what the finished chair looks like...it is for sale in my booth. I also have a matching white one...

This is the Before picture of the chairs from a garage sale.

This is the chair that I kept for my front porch. I painted it white again to freshen the paint. I found exterior fabric and upholstered the seat and back.

I am now working on matching pillows for an iron settee that I have near this chair.

Before and Afters
I figure, if the black chair doesn't sell in my booth, I will bring it home. Paint it white and reupholster the seat and back for a matching set. Hubby thinks I should do this now, but I am dragging my feet since I am up to my ears in projects.

NOTE: You should be able to click on most of the pictures to enlarge to see further details.

  1. Yep, I agree with your hubby, once that chair sells...it is gone for good and you would probably never find a match...they are way cool chairs!!

  3. Love the chairs! I agree with your hubby..keep it. And Ceekay is right, once it's gone, it's gone. They would be beautiful as a pair! What's one more project right? :-)

  4. Yes, but you know what will happen, Terry, you'll just get set to take it home and someone will buy it. I say pull it out of your booth even if you don't get to it right away. I love it on your porch in the white! It looks so fresh and the curves on these chairs are fantastic. They really catch your eye.

  5. I agree with everyone. Get it home and do it to match the white one. They are both beautiful. Sure wish I could find a couple like that along with a settee.. Have wanted something like that so bad for under our car port which in the spring turns into a wonderful place to sit and enjoy nature around the yard.
