This is the Before picture of the chairs from a garage sale. |
This is the chair that I kept for my front porch. I painted it white again to freshen the paint. I found exterior fabric and upholstered the seat and back. |
I am now working on matching pillows for an iron settee that I have near this chair. |

Yep, I agree with your hubby, once that chair sells...it is gone for good and you would probably never find a match...they are way cool chairs!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a transformation! I love the fabric!
ReplyDeleteLove the chairs! I agree with your hubby..keep it. And Ceekay is right, once it's gone, it's gone. They would be beautiful as a pair! What's one more project right? :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, but you know what will happen, Terry, you'll just get set to take it home and someone will buy it. I say pull it out of your booth even if you don't get to it right away. I love it on your porch in the white! It looks so fresh and the curves on these chairs are fantastic. They really catch your eye.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone. Get it home and do it to match the white one. They are both beautiful. Sure wish I could find a couple like that along with a settee.. Have wanted something like that so bad for under our car port which in the spring turns into a wonderful place to sit and enjoy nature around the yard.

Nice, Terry! I love the green fabric with the white paint.
ReplyDeleteIf you have room for two chairs, keep it! andrea @ townandprairie
ReplyDeleteTerry, Great transformation on the chairs! I say keep them. Thanks for linking to the Open House party.

Great finds and wonderful redos. Such a unique set, hope you don't have to break it up. Love the fabric, too.
