Crazy Good Transformation!

This cabinet turned out crazy good and could be used for so many things.

A neighbor who knows that I transform furniture asked me if I would like to purchase this piece and do something fun with it.

Upon seeing it, I knew it would be more challenging than just painting it. But I was up for the task.

This is what it looked like when I bought it from her...
Someone had added the V shaped pieces of wood and turned it into a desk. In it's early life it would have looked like this...(I found this on ebay and it has the same hardware)
But if it could tell a story as to why it lost its lower area of doors and stretcher bar, it might be interesting.
So hubby was up for helping me cut and place the bead-board that we had on hand to line the inside. That is, after removing the V-shape wood that I didn't like.
After lining the inside with the bead-board and putting in a half shelf, I transformed it further with Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue Chalk Paint on the outside and white latex on the bead-board.

Including the stripes. I love it and now it is for sale in my booth.
