A neighbor who knows that I transform furniture asked me if I would like to purchase this piece and do something fun with it.
Upon seeing it, I knew it would be more challenging than just painting it. But I was up for the task.
This is what it looked like when I bought it from her...
Someone had added the V shaped pieces of wood and turned it into a desk. In it's early life it would have looked like this...(I found this on ebay and it has the same hardware)
But if it could tell a story as to why it lost its lower area of doors and stretcher bar, it might be interesting.
So hubby was up for helping me cut and place the bead-board that we had on hand to line the inside. That is, after removing the V-shape wood that I didn't like.
