Snowy Snowball Urn

Yesterday we had our first snowfall of the season, and it put me in the mood for some kind of showy snowy decor.

Like a lot of people I know, my inspiration came from Pinterest! What did we ever do before Pinterest? I know that it certainly wasn't as easy to find inspiration as it is today.

Anyway, my inspiration came from this...

I just thought it screamed lovely snow! It struck me right away that I already had all of the componets and more to pull off this sort of look.
Yes, it's not quite Christmas and I alredy deconstructed my urn. I had my fun with it...so it was time to move on...besides, it's still a fun look that can work with all my Christmas decor. By adding lighted twigs, it made it so fun at night too.

Needless to say, I got a jump start on my winter decor today!

  1. Simply beautiful. This is such an elegant look for the holidays. I was in Michaels the other day and saw a Christmas/New Years arrangement that I liked so I whipped out my Iphone and took a picture of it. When I turned around a clerk was giving me the evil eye. I smiled and put my phone away. These arrangements were for sale. I like pinterest for inspiration to and any where else I can get my decor fix at. Bloggers are the most kind and sharing people I know of. They don't just show off their decor. they show you step by step details on how to make it. I will be making your arrangement next year. Thank you Merry Christmas from Humble Abode
