No Befores, Just Afters

Every once in a while, I get in a hurry and forget to take a before picture. That is the case with this table.

Someone did the work of stripping it down and refinishing it, but with the norm in my booth, if I don't do something different with a piece of furniture, it just sits there not selling!



The top was pretty with the wood inlay...

So I simply paint the legs with Annie Sloan's French Linen Chalk Paint.

Now this next piece, I could kick myself if I could get my leg that high back there for not taking a before picture!

When people find out that I restore/transform old pieces, they start giving me their junk. A win/win I think, it saves the environment, gets it out of their basements and garages and I am able to get creative on it.

That is the case with this chair. It used to be a vintage high chair. Someone cut off the foot rest and cut it down to an odd size. You just have to envision it. I cut it down a bit more to a size that seemed not to be so awkward. Then I just painted it...
