French Chandelier Love

Do you ever WANT for no real reason,

Other than...

You just do?

That was the case with

                   my dining area chandelier.










This is the one I am referring to...

It came with the house and I have gotten many questions over the years as to where I bought it.

It was in the formal dining room when we moved in,

But we use that room as an office and so

I moved the chandelier into the Breakfast area that we use as our main dining and put up a lighted ceiling fan in the study.

I've had fun with decorating it and the gray metal and stone look center goes well with my gray walls and marble floors. But I still had the WANTS.

I purchased this French chandelier for the living room a couple of years ago...

And just love it!

With my WANTS, I did much searching in my soul and online. I finally decided to purchase a French look chandelier that would compliment nicely with the living room since you can see into each room from the other.

I found this one at Home Decorators and just love it, though when I first got it, I thought it was way too big.

Online measurements stated that it was 24 inches across. Well it's more like 28 to 30! But I installed it anyway.

And I think it works. I couldn't use the ceiling medallion with it because the ceiling cap of the fixture is a hexagon and the medallion was a circle.

I'm happy with it and my WANT was met with HAVE.
