Vintage Swivel Frames

All I wanted was one vintage swivel frame. I just like them. On a trip to see my son and family last year, I mentioned to my oldest sister that I was on the lookout for one.

She brought me a box full of them! And these left in the box are the ones that I haven't transformed yet! She collected them for projects and never did do anything with them. Now she is downsizing and wants rid of them...thanks Deb!
I painted the one above in Annie Sloan French Linen. I printed out a free printable and added scalloped scrapbook paper to the upper and lower, to extend the look and give it some accent.
I have two step grandsons and in the box I found two separate matching swivel frames.
After painting them with Old White Annie Sloan chalk paint, I added sport pictures of the boys.
This swivel frame is an 8 x 10...or close, they didn't exactly size old frames like they do now.
I found this free printable on the Ella Claire blog. She has some really great ones. It works beautifully in this frame.
Here is one that is not painted yet, but I think it is neat with two swivel frames on one stand.
Also, this is an interesting one with 'doors'. It's not a swivel but really cool. I was thinking that it would be fun to make some kind of Christmas art to display behind the doors during the holiday. I feel another creative project coming!
This swivel frame above, I kept in the original paint and just added this Kitchen Conversion that I designed using my Silhouette and printed it out on scrapbooking paper in the color that my daughter is using as an accent color in her kitchen.
scanned the kitchen conversions page for you so if you want to do something like this for your kitchen, you can just print mine. The size is 8 x 10.
