This is Part 2 of my week of treasures! There was so much that I had to break it up for you. In Part 2, I will share what happened when I answered an ad in the paper for a night stand. Most of this will be sold in my booth!
This is what our CRV looked like after calling on the ad! |
This is a huge frame. The frame is solid walnut and old. I will remove the large needlepoint and save it to use on a bench. |
This is a vintage needlepoint stool. I will remove the needlepoint and put it in a smaller frame to be able to show only the floral area. I will revamp the stool. |
I thought I would show you the underside of the stool. It has an old magazine ad showing! |
A nice old oak framed mirror. |
This floral picture was interesting. It is a very old print and I loved the patina. I will throw away the frame and put it in one more suited to this picture. |
This is the night stand that caused me to answer the ad in the paper. I have plans for this just like the twin night stands that I recently painted and posted. |
This is a really cool iron coat tree. Here it is laying down on the driveway for the best photo. We love this and plan on keeping it. |
This bookcase (that came with the shelves, not pictured) will be used in my mall booth. |
A cool iron pulley. |
A handled box |
A weight that went with a large scale. We are using it as a door stop in our tool room. |
This old fern stand needs a new top, and it will be a fun piece to paint and fix up. |
This chair reminds me of the subway art chair (below) that I painted. I will do something fun with paint on this one too. |
An old Remington box for my son. He will love this. |
Two 16 x 20 framed cupid prints |
I loved the vintage cupids so much that I put them in one of the guest bedrooms. The other pictures that hung here will be shipped to my sister in NC. |
This is an old child's rocker that has seen its better days. The woven seat is dry, brittle and broken. This will be an opportunity to be creative! |
NOTE: You should be able to click on most of the pictures to enlarge to see further details.
