Dried and wrapped in old songbook pages!
If you study this picture below, you will see a yellow painted birdcage hanging from a hook by our swing. As I was sitting out on the patio, I spied a red cardinal sitting on the hook and it just struck me as funny since it was by the birdcage. ReplyDeleteI am waiting for my lavender to flower, in the mean time it's nice to enjoy yours. The nice thing about cardinals is how they stand out against their background.

Your lavender looks beautiful! It's one of my favorites and my mom grows it in their garden too, I wish I could have a bouquet at the house now! I love that purple color and that wonderful smell!
ReplyDeleteHi Terry, I wish we could grow lavender here. I have tried with no luck. Enjoy the beautiful scent and thanks for joining my party.
ReplyDeleteI adore Lavender but alas, it hasn't grown too well here in the fierce heat of the Desert... so I just purchase mine. I Love your Idea of wrapping the bundles in Old Music Sheets.
ReplyDeleteBlessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
The lavender looks lovely. Always makes a beautiful photo. We are heading to winter in our part of the world. I have a few months before we see our lavender again.

I keep thinking of doing lavender at our house. Do you grow yours on a hill or flat space? I am stopping by from the Cottage Garden Party.
ReplyDeleteYou have one of those cool blogs that everyone flocks to. I love lavender and when I saw your ppost, I had to pick up some of my dried lavender and take a big whif! Love that smell. It smells like it just has to be good for you!
