Lavender and A Cardinal


It's harvest time here for my Lavender!


Dried and wrapped in old songbook pages!
If you study this picture below, you will see a yellow painted birdcage hanging from a hook by our swing. As I was sitting out on the patio, I spied a red cardinal sitting on the hook and it just struck me as funny since it was by the birdcage. I was able to snap a quick picture.

  6. I am waiting for my lavender to flower, in the mean time it's nice to enjoy yours. The nice thing about cardinals is how they stand out against their background.

  15. I adore Lavender but alas, it hasn't grown too well here in the fierce heat of the Desert... so I just purchase mine. I Love your Idea of wrapping the bundles in Old Music Sheets.
