My neighbor is a pharmaceutical sales person.
She has a bunch of plastic canisters that she can no longer give to her clients...
And she didn't know what to do with them so she gave me several.
All I did was create an individual look for each one out of scrapbooking paper and supplies that I had on hand.
Canister #1 was bound with paper ribbon and then I made a rose out of burlap and embellished with an old skeleton key, etc. and added a chip board #1.
Canister #2 was bound with paper I wove and embellished with a cute scrapbooking purse and added a chip board #2.
Canister #3 was bound with black scrapbooking paper that I hand punched on the edge and then I made roses out of old sheet music and embellished with an old scrabble letter M and added a chip board #3.
Canister #4 was bound with grey scrapbooking paper that I hand punched on the ends and embellished with a ribbon, and a picture of a bird and her nest of four eggs. I added the word NEST with scrapbooking key letters and added a chip board #4.
I will be using these in my craft room to hold supplies in.
Don't you think that these are so cute and versatile? They could be decorated to coordinate with any room like, a bathroom to hold cotton balls, etc. in.
What a fun project these have been. My friend was given some too and she painted chalkboard paint in a band around where the letters are to cover them up and now has a cute canister set that she uses in her kitchen. All she needs to do it write in chalk the contents of the canister!
