It's about a month away so not too early to display some sweet Valentine decor. Last year I had this as one of my displays...
This year I wanted to find a new way to display my Valentine Hankies! So I used my green wire tree. I took advantage of our unseasonably warm weather last week and spray painted it white. I then purchased red heart ornaments on after Christmas clearance. And with my black and white check ribbon, I tied one on...so to speak.
I embellished a pre-made snowman with a base of netting and heart scrapbook paper, bookpage roses and LOVE lettering.

Hi Terry - I'm one of your newest followers. I love your Valentine hankerchief tree -- it's so unique and adorable. Your blog has so many inspiring ideas. I really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet idea! Your hankie collection is just adorable! I kept a small tree up from Christmas this year with the intention of maybe doing a Valentine tree. So far it's just a winter tree! LOL! And it may stay that way but it's there if I do get around to it. I'd sure like to try!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable idea! You are so clever thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletePeggy, I'm glad you like it. I felt it was a simple and easy thing to do for something different.

So cute! The way the hankies are hanging reminds me of upside down hearts! I may have to pull out the red ones from my stash of vintage hankies!!

Great displays, Terry! I like the way you use the handkerchiefs in your decor. They are too pretty to keep in a drawer.
