- This was a nice size bunny made out of ceramic with a crackle finish and it was only $2. I brought him home and took off the ribbon. While the hot glue gun was heating up, I just frayed and ruffled some burlap by pulling one of the middle strings. I used some crinkle bias tape, a pre-made book page flower that I made earlier and a key embellishment. Combine them all and he is now sporting a sweet vintage look!
- What could be easier than this?

How cute, Terry, and I love his ruffled collar! Thanks for the tip on pulling a middle thread on the burlap; I never would have thought to do that. He looks just perfect with the flower and key added.

ReplyDeleteTerry: This is very, very cute. Good idea. I made the bird burlap pillow image in Picasa and used the iron on transfer to transfer to burlap. I printed it to the transfer paper from my printer. Hope this answers your questions.
