Initially, I had her dressed in my wedding dress.
But before that, she was a $2.50 garage sale find.
I covered her in book pages and loved the outcome.
Then, I recently saw this picture (below) for new inspiration for her.

So, I went to my sewing room and found a lace and muslin valance that I paid 50¢ at a garage sale. I sewed in a couple of pin tucks, and this is the outcome.
Looking pretty snazzy now, don't you think?

Love the new look. I paid $80 for mine, double groan, but still love her. Question, I have the same dress form. Did you just use modge podge to attach book pages? I love the look and would like to update mine a bit.

I think your dress form is wonderful! So love that you covered it with papers. And, I noticed the black lacy glove on the wall behind her. I'll bet that was what I call an "orphan glove". Sometimes they make the best display items! Thanks for sharing!

Oh you are so lucky to have found your dress form for $2.50. I love yours and what you have done with it. I have been looking for one for so long now that is not an arm and a leg to boot. I have two small dress forms that I have decorated. Come say hi if you have the time.
