Wicker Drawer Stand

I happened upon a wicker drawer stand that caught my eye at a garage sale.

The price was right

So I bought it

But the piece could use a bit of a design lift.

This is what it looked like when I purchased it...
It had a bit of chipping of the paint, otherwise it was in great, sturdy condition. I wanted to bring it up a notch though.
I painted just the wood body (sans the drawers) with Annie Sloan French Linen Chalk Paint. I then dry brushed on some AS Old White diluted down with water.
I decided that I needed more storeage in my sewing room, so out goes my cute chair...
And put this cabinet in it's place.
Before and After. A little paint can update anything!

  3. Would love to have that in our bathroom under our window. It sure looks great and at a yard sale? It's a great style and height also. Lucky you finding such a treasure.
We don't have a linen closet, we just have a stand like a bookcase hubs built. I'm really tired of it tho so would love something more stylish for our bathroom. I use the basket type bins to keep toiletries in and a bigger flatter basket for the hand towels and wash cloths. I am glad to at least have a nice sized window in our bathroom.
