I have a wreath that I made using rolled music book pages...
And thought, "Hey why not make another shape out of the same rolled up pages".
Plus, I wanted to show you early enough so that you could make one for Christmas if you so felt the desire!
I started with a clear plastic cone shape like this, but you can use any cone made out of different material like heavy card stock...
After rolling a bunch of pages, I just worked from the bottom to the top, applying each of the rolled page with hot glue. The length of the rolled pages would depend on how big you wanted your tree or the height of the cone shape that you glue it to.
I realized that I didn't want to crush the pointed tips on the bottom row, so I simply set the cone on top of a glass vase that I had handy.
As you can see, I didn't pay close enough attention to making the layers even, so I made a tiny banner that says "Rejoice" to help hide my mistake.
At the top, I finished it off with braiding some strips of the music paper and also making cute scrolls. Then I topped it with a gold glitter star.
I hope that I gave you enough guidance to be able to make one for yourself! Enjoy...
