This is the continuing post on the very PINK baby shower that I had for my daughter.
If you missed Part I you can see it HERE.
In the first post, I showed you some decor and the Sign-In Table with a couple of games.
Let's move on to the dining tables...
I used my handy Silhouette electronic cutting machine to make a lot of my decor for this shower.
Let's take an overview of the dining tables. I used white table cloths, then topped with pink crepe paper. In the center of the table, I used my homemade centerpieces...
A ribboned ring of rolled diapers with a large 2-sided paper flower pick in the center...
I used this paper punch purchased on clearance at Hobby Lobby to make the circles that the 3D paper flowers were placed on both sides...
...and cut the corners off a 12 inch square of scrapbooking paper for placemats...
The scroll paper above each placemat is another baby game of unscrambling baby words. I made a cute tag for each that said, "Baby Game, Don't Open yet!" I did this game before we ate our meal.
Let me back up a minute and show you the invitations that I made from Hobby Lobby baby announcements. Since I knew the sex of the baby, I was able to use "It's a Girl" announcement and just design and print an invitation.
On to our meal. I don't have very good pictures of the tables used for food and drink so use your imagination a bit. I catered in wraps from Roly Poly along with really good potato salad. I also had a veggie tray and cups of cut fruit available on a 3-tiered stand.
First was a basket with napkins tied around the silverware and plates. Then on to the food described above. The table next to it was the drink table.
First was a basket of 1/2 size water bottles that I made labels for...
Then was Pink Party Punch, Ice Tea and a bucket of Ice, cups and sweetener. At the end was a large chalkboard that I made and framed with an old antique frame...
Let's move on to the best table...The Sweets Table!
This table was sandwiched between two balloon bouquets. I had bags with ribbon and a pink baby buggy sticker available so guests could fill them up and take home anything they wanted.
In front, I had made picks for each Angel Food cupcake I catered in.
These picks were 2-sided.
I had a 2-tiered stand full of homemade baby rattles (you can also get a glimpse of the bags)...
Made with a sucker stick, a large and small marshmallow...
Dipped in white chocolate and topped with pink candies and a ribbon. Bagged and ready for guests to enjoy.
You saw in the photo above butter mints and pink chocolate covered pretzels. I also had a glass container full of pink wrapped Kisses. That was the advantage of having this shower after Valentine's Day! Added to that was these cute boxes of pink covered chocolate popcorn.
Don't miss the cute framed saying I made...
Lastly, and my favorite, I made these wraps for Hershey Bars that say "It's a" and the square cut out for SHE of HerSHEy to show though.
I also had a large round table in the corner for the gifts...
Lisa enjoyed opening up all her gifts. Now it will be time to nest!
On this table, I had a framed collage art of the many faces of Baby Lisa! Along with that, the decor consisted of a clothesline of baby items, another balloon bouquet and a decorated wreath.
I told myself to get pictures, but socializing and making sure things went smoothly took precedence and it just didn't happen. (Here you can see the clothesline in the back). Thanks to Chris, Cinda and Gail for taking extra pictures for me to cherish and share.
I am very organized in nature, and thought that someone out there would gather many ideas for a shower that they were giving.
Now I am ready for my Granddaughter to be here!
