A New Dresser and A Special Girl!
I have been away from my computer for a bit. Have you missed me?
I am the proud new Grandma of a beautiful baby girl, my daughter's first precious gift from God.
Oh do I ever have a birth story for you! I will not get into the heavy details, but let's just say, we really were exhaustively overjoyed to have Isla (Eye-La) Rose come into this world after 40 hours of labor!
Hubby and I got a call at 4am on Friday morning from our daughter that her water broke.
We had to drive about 2 hours to the town that our daughter lives, Springfield, IL. We arrived around the time Lisa's contractions began.
The birth plan Lisa decided on was called Hypnobirthing with a Midwife at Memorial Hospital. The Midwife advised Lisa to labor as long as possible at home,

Cutest Pink Baby Shower! Part II
This is the continuing post on the very PINK baby shower that I had for my daughter.
If you missed Part I you can see it HERE.
In the first post, I showed you some decor and the Sign-In Table with a couple of games.
Let's move on to the dining tables...
I used my handy Silhouette electronic cutting machine to make a lot of my decor for this shower.

Cutest Pink Baby Shower! Part 1
You might be asking yourself...
Where has Terry been from Forever Decorating?
She just is not posting as much!
Well, I am here to tell you that I have
been quite busy...
When I found out that I was going to be
a Grandma, I patiently waited until my
daughter was 22 weeks along to find out the sex of the baby...
Then started making the cutest PINK shower decor that I could think of!

Vacation in San Diego!
I have been away for a week to sunny San Diego! Hubby had a conference there and we took some extra days for us to enjoy. It was 14 degrees when we left Illinois and San Diego was in the 70's and creeping into the 80's with beautiful sunny days! I will show some amazing pictures and facts that we learned.
,
We stayed in downtown San Diego at the US Grant Hotel. It is upscale and beautiful with many stunning artwork and sculpture pieces. They had a French artist make all the headboards...
