Okay, I am going to confess two things...I love hummingbirds and I have not been drinking!

Why would I confess such crazy things? Well, this evening, as I was washing dishes, (yes, I have a dishwasher but sometimes still handwash) I looked out my window and saw a hummingbird on our Thundercloud Plum tree. I ran and took this picture.

Can you see it? It was getting dusk so it looks like a silhouette. Here let me help you...
Here's where the NOT drinking comes in. When I was cropping the picture to put it on this post, I saw two more things. It's kind of like "I Spy".
However, I must tell you that these are leaves, NOT a butterfly and another bird. Too funny, don't you think? Or it could be my creative mind playing tricks on me.

  1. Hello,

The Hummingbird holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons. I LOVE THEM!! That is a beautiful picture. Your blog is so pretty, and you have alot of creative ideas. Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing all your wonderful photos. 3. Thanks for sharing this fun post at Cottage Flroa Thursday's! The photo (silhouette) of the hummingbird on the tree is fabulous! xoox, tracie

  4. I think you were drinking...(big wink)

  5. No, I did not laugh because I also would have found those images to be other critters... I have a Firspike in my yard and each day, twice a day it has numerous hummingbirds and butterflys just enjoying the tiny flowers.. I wish I had a good camera to zoom in...
    Very nice post!

  6. It looks like a nest is near the hummingbird!
I saw a hummingbird near her nest with eggs once...one of my most treasured memories. Truly, they are amazing creatures!
    Thanks for sharing!

It makes me smile to hear from you!
