Winter Putz Display

While most people display their Putz Houses during the Christmas season,

I reserve mine for a favorite winter display...

Because, I have way too much Christmas decor to display and not enough surface space to show and share it all at the same time!

And it's something that I look forward to after the Christmas decor is all put away!

Plus, I hand made all these Putz Houses except for the yellow one and blue one.
They are fun to make!
During our long cold winters.
And they are just so darn cute!

  1. What a great display and awesome idea for winter decorations! So fun - and pretty!

  2. What a great idea for enjoying them after Christmas and giving them their own season. We leave our snow village out for several weeks after Christmas. It helps fill the gap after the overload of Christmas décor.

  3. How creative and fun, and way too cute! Love sparkle! Happy New Year!

  4. I would love to make these Christmas houses! Did you do a tutorial? The display just looks Like winter and not Christmas. Love it, so pretty!

    1. What a wonderful grouping and memories of my childhood. We had these on our tree during the 49;s. I would play with them forever changing them around to make different scenes and cities. So nice to know there are some still with a home.

  5. Terry,
Thanks so much for sharing all your pretty Winter décor at my Show and Share Party today.

  6. These are gorgeous! I love how elegant they came out!

  7. I love your pretty winter display and have to agree these little houses always make me smile. Thank you for sharing at Share It One More Time. Cathy

  8. Beautiful! I love decorations that are winter, but not Christmas. They're perfect to pull out in January to keep it cheerful even after Christmas is put away.

  9. I like the idea of a winter versus Christmas display and just love yours! Those little houses are adorable.

  10. Terry, your winter displays are so cute. Little displays like that make me smile too and the best part of winter is you can enjoy your creations longer. Thanks for linking at Project Pin-it!!

  11. Hi Terry! Wonderful decorations! I love winter with snow!!! Thanks for sharing.
    Have a great day!
    Hugs from Portugal,

  12. I love your winter decor!!! I keep my little houses out too. I have sooo much Christmas that a lot of my winter decor doesnt come out until Christmas is put away. Our winter in Michigan is long and cold and snowy and the decor keeps my house warm and cozy. Often people think that winter decor is Christmas decor. I'm glad to see you think like I do.

  13. Beautifully done, Terry! Great idea to use these displays after Christmas. Catherine

  14. Your Putz vignettes say "winter" to me. Thanks for sharing. Gail

  15. So pretty! I love celebrating winter. Featured you at our party this morning!

It makes me smile to hear from you!
