Christmas Greenery Dress Form Tutorial

Want to make this?

Here is what you will need.
1) Some kind of dress form, large or small. I picked this one up at a garage sale for $2.
2) Fake Greenery. Amount depends on size of dress form. I picked this up at a garage sale for 25¢.
3) Ribbon
4) Hot glue gun
I measured ribbon around the waist of the dress form and pinned my measurements, but left the ribbon long enough to tie. This ribbon will not show, it is just to hold the greenery and can be removed when Christmas is over because I didn't want this to be permanent. I then hot glued each piece of greenery in layers holding it down till the glue dried with something heavy, in my case I used the scissors handle.
I just tied the ribboned greenery around the waist of the dress form, then tied a larger red ribbon around the dress for with a pretty bow. The larger ribbon hides the white smaller ribbon.

I took a small ribbon and tied it around the neck of the dress form and added some holly leaves for added detail.
Isn't she just beautiful and all dressed for the Christmas Ball?

  7. Now THIS is adorable, and so creative. Years ago I had a full size dress form. I sold it at a garage sale and sometimes regret it...like now. ;)

  11. Your dress form is so cute.

I want a column for Christmas, but I haven't found one (except the $200 one) to show my family. I guess it will have to wait.

  12. Lovely! Is it weird that I would totally wear a skirt like this? That giant red bow is gorgeous! :D
